Abilities
•The removed abilities in WoD is to make the game more fun (redundant abilities are gone, situational abilities are not fun, no feedback abilities are no fun, complicated abilities are no fun)
•The old talent tree changes were made to fix this, did it didn’t really fix it.
•The returning players had to read guides to understand the basics of their class.
Healing
•Healing will be more tactical
•Smart healing was a bit too smart and they are fixing this. The smart heals will heal everyone who is injured, not only the ones that were injured the most.
•The mana was scaling poorly. Low geared characters ran out of mana pretty fast and the high geared ones didn’t worried about mana at all. This will be balanced.
•Spirit will be on less slots now.
•There will be enough but not excessive mana in WoD.

Items
•Kill, loot, equip – this is the new item system in WoD. No more traveling to different vendors and third party websites to be able to “prepare” your new item.
•Tier tokens are going to work like the Timeless Isle ones.
•Hit and expertise are gone, caps and softcaps/breakpoints are gone as well.
•No more items upgrades.
•Sockets and enchants are for lesser slots now.
•Dodge and parry are now bonus armor.
•Even if you already have an item dropped from one boss, it still might be an upgrade for you.
•Set bonuses will change when you change spec.
Misc
•The new legendary in WoD will be a ring.
•Legendary weapons are added when the story allows it.
•Disc priests were OP for a long time.
•The game is not really balanced around every class soloing things.
•Shadow priests might get new visuals in the future.
•Combo points UI can be improved but thee is no solution for this yet.
